Ample Jumpstarting and DC Power All in One
The Schumacher IP-125 is a combination DC powered Jump Starter and external 12-volt power source, that goes wherever you do. Built around a powerful 12-volt, 12Ah, AGM battery, the IP-125C generates up to 750 peak Amps which can funneled into the onboard jumpstarter rated at 250A @ 5 seconds. Jumpstarting events utilize two 18" battery leads that wrap out of the way when not in use. In addition, the unit's charge can also be used to power all manner of DC powered devices via the unit's 12-volt DC outlet and a user-supplied DC power adapter.

Safety and Convenience of Maintenance Mode Charging
External 12-volt power sources are a must-have accessory for any driver who spends a decent amount of time on the road, but like any battery-based tool, for all their uses they are only as good as the charge they carry when you need them. For this reason most require an ongoing schedule of monitoring and recharging by owners in order to maintain a proper charge without damaging the internal battery, but the Schumacher IP-125 is differernt. Its built-in charger, fed by an extension cord (sold separately) features Maintenance Mode charging. Maintenance Mode charging is a smart charging cycle that initially charges your battery at an efficiently high rate up to a preset level, at which point charging ceases. When the battery eventually drops below this level again, another less powerful charging cycle begins that is just strong enough to raise the battery's charge to the preset optimal level. This smart charging does not pose a risk of overcharging, and so enables you to leave your Schumacher IP-125 plugged in all the time. It will always be ready when you toss it in the car and go.

If your unit is not free from defective material or workmanship, Manufacturers obligation under this warranty is solely to repair or replace your product, with a new or reconditioned unit, at the option of the Manufacturer.
